How to get your money back.

1/ Setup a new bank account with a different bank

Its good to have a fallback, just incase your bank does not react favorably to your request.

2/ Work out how much you are owed

You can claim for upto 6 years worth of charges with statutory interest . If you don't have bank statements for the past six years then you can either

Request the detail from your bank. You can request this information under the Data Protection Act, though there may be a charge of £10

3/ Ask for the money back
